MY APPROACH
Sally Kim is passionate about working with children and adolescents, particularly in the area of neurodevelopmental disorders. Sally's personal experiences as a Korean American have inspired her dedication to diversity, cultural integration, and a multidisciplinary approach to understanding child development. She approaches complex psychosocial and neurodevelopmental challenges with empathy and insight, emphasizing a strengths-based perspective that honors individual differences and celebrates resilience.
Sally is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Psychological Association (APA), the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology (AACN), the International Neuropsychological Society (INS), and the Association of Neuropsychology Students & Trainees (ANST). These affiliations enable her to stay connected with current research and evolving practices, with a focus on pediatric and multicultural neuropsychology.

Education and Training
Sally is a doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at Azusa Pacific University, specializing in pediatric neuropsychology. She also earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and holds Master of Arts degrees from Talbot School of Theology and Azusa Pacific University. Currently in her doctoral program, she is completing her second year of training at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). At CHLA, Sally conducts neuropsychological assessments for children with a wide range of medical conditions, with a focus on the hematology/oncology and neurology departments. Her diverse training background also includes work in public schools, community mental health, private practice, and hospitals.
